Worked great while I could use it Not only is it easy to set up and use, but the sound quality is excellent. I purchased around a year ago, and I love it. Worked great on my laptop until I updated it from Windows 7 to Windows First off, I am not a professional in this field.

No hard installs just plug it in and it works! Plug it in and transform your sound. Although recently the cord has started acting up, and I need a new one In the end this is an easy and good sounding mic that is a great choice if your just starting out.

A quick lookup on the web revealed that there are a multitude of issues with nearly all USB powered mics since the release of Windows Quite frankly, I feel as though I’ve had my money stolen from me. Just to test, I Muc tried it out in the windows camera app as well as some apps like skype and google hangouts. The clear undistorted recording leads to almost flawless reproduction on the page.

I have also used the mic to record audio from speakers of very old records and again the results are excellent. It turns out it’s a windows driver issue, and audio-technica have completely failed to provide a replacement driver.
