We only stopped using this because we got a computer with built-in wireless. Guaranteed 3 day bellkin.

You will have to download the software from Belkin, to complete the install of this hardware. Just USB module, fd59050 cables or drivers or manuals, just the dongle included.
Belkin’s driver won’t work well. Plus I’ve been using the card that keeps cutting out for a wireless hotspot with hostapd so the card falling asleep definitely hadn’t crossed my mind.
Latest drivers should be downloaded from Belkin’s website. Connect to wireless network. I say out of the liux, it didn’t appear to work instantly but when I rebooted the next day it came to life with no prompting and asked if I’d like to connect to my home network.
